Harpers ferry isn't the only field/site in danger. In the most recent issue of Civil War Times, there is a short article about a proposal to place a trash incinerator on the river opposite the Worthington Farm, with a smokestack 170 ft. tall. The prevailing winds blow right over the battlefield, which would blow potentially toxic smoke (it is garbage, after all) over the battlefield, making it dangerous for battlefield traipsers like me to walk the trails down there. This is what happens when you elect Martin O'Malley!!
