Default Who commanded the Union forces around Charleston after Gillmore left?

After Battery Wagner & Gregg on Morris Island was captured, Union General Gillmore's attempt to shell Charleston into submission failed. In April 1864, his Confederate counterpart, P. T. G. Beauregard was ordered with many of his men to move north to protect Petersburg & Richmond. In May of the same year, Grant ordered General Gillmore to send his men to Virginia to join Beast Butler's Army of the James. Per Grant's memoirs, Gillmore accompanied his men.

So, here's my question, who was the commander of the Union forces around Charleston after Gillmore left? I know that Charleston ultimately fell in Feb. 1865 to Union General John Foster, but did Foster assume command immediately after Gillmore?

Brigadier General John Porter Hatch took over Gillmore's Department of the South 1 May, '64. He commanded most of that month until superceded by Foster, a major general, the 26th of May. He then commanded the District of Hilton Head in the department.

Opps. Found out that Gillmore returned and relieved Foster. Thus it was Gillmore who captured Charleston.
