I've always tended to think of the dividing line between the Western and Eastern theaters as running roughly along the line dividing the Eastern time zone from the Central.

Thus, I would tend to think of the Western theater as including the western half of Kentucky, most of Tennessee, and all of Alabama and Mississippi. However, according to the definition posted on the lead-in to this part of the board, all that would be considered part of the Eastern theater.

What does anyone else think about where the dividing line falls?

When I read about Sherman in Georgia, it is considered "The Western Theater".
