Dear John Gross;

Good work finding the info on the fellow Benjamin Culifar.

It is interesting how many dual regiments, etc; exist; e.g. 1st Tennessee Cavalry for both Union and CSA.

I haven't seen any 'dog tags/identification tags' come across my screen or in any official reports; so this is a new goodie for me. So, for me I couldn't assume anything so I dug.

It is good to know 'which' 1st Tennessee Cavalry unit this gentleman belonged to--adds to the value of the disk, in my opinion.

Being 'history detectives' is part of the fun of being a member on this forum and, I'm sure we (in general) will make you a part of it! [Grinsssss]

Again--good job detective Gross

Just some thoughts.

Respectfully submitted for consideration,
M. E. Wolf

Hey gang. Gerald Prokopowicz interviewed a guy who wrote a book on these discs. Check out his 10/24/08 interview at http://www.modavox.com/WTRStudioA/Ho...spx?ShowId=446
