Saw some discussion of the term "neo-Confederate" and whether or not it is a pejorative. I see neo-Confederate as a descriptive that applies to those today who support at some level the actions of the secessionists/Confederates 1860-1865.
Back in the day in a group far, far away I offered this gradiation of neo-Confederates.
With apologies to Jeff Foxworthy:
o If you think that the slave south was right to secede, that is that it did the right thing in seceding, then you just might be a neo-Confederate, 3rd Class.
o If you wish that the seceders had suceeded, that is that the Union had been severed and the nation divided, then you just might be a neo-Confederate, 2nd Class.
o If you hope that the south secedes once again then you just might be a neo-Confederate, 1st Class.

That about covers me. Hey, the South don't have to leave any more. The South already guides America. Why would anyone in the South want to leave this?

I suppose, then, that you would label me a 2nd Class Neo Confederate.
But then, as a Tory Loyalist, I also could see us remaining Loyal to Great Britain, which is about the same government we have, today...
Of all the flags, Great Britain still has the coolest, be they all RED WHITE AND BLUE!

Perhaps the League of the South guys (LOSers) and their ilk actually promoting secession circa 2008. But that's a group that, at best, has a sane fringe and a lunatic core.
There is always a cause for you to be bumped to a different classification in rank. How about "Super-Dooper-Heavy-Duty-Class?" [Teases/Grins] -- I was told I needed "Super-Dooper-Deavy-Duty-Class" trailer hitch for all the stuff in my room. LOL
Just some good humor
Respectfully submitted with a lot of humor,

Hell, I would have bet on Lord Torywulf for 1st Class.
Okay. IF the South had any sort of economy that the North could threaten today... and if the North would thus threatened it...
Or if the South would be forced into accepting the official rejection of their brand of Judeo-Christianity, Libertarianism, or their WAY OF LIFE. (as in Confederates losing the right to reenact because the NPS.gov has taken over the battlefields and is forbidding the Confederate flags and weapons on them...)
Or if the South would have to have to deal with the forced Federal abolition of their firearms and their
beer, wine, and liquor supplies...
Yeah. I could be convinced to go Number One!
Sign me up!

Guess what. I have on my surly belt and it strains to contain my burgeoning gut. And I note that you've posted something but couldn't force myself to actually read it. When we get into that mode, my belt and I just kinda shut down.
I'll think about it tomorrow morning when I have removed the surly belt and let my prodigious belly gasp for air.
Meanwhile, my response shall remain cloaked in mystery.
