Getting so close to having our next Skirmisher here!
Thought I'd give everyone an update.
I am currently 37 weeks and some change pregnant, with our second little skirmisher in the making.
I am starting to worry about not going into labor on my own, if I go too far over due, I will atomatically have a cesarean section, due to having had one previously, but if labor starts on it's own, I can try for a normal birth!
If you could send some labor thoughts my way, I'd be appreciative, I desperatly want to avoid another c-section. I just don't think, I can manage a toddler, a newborn, 2 dogs, while trying to heal from major surgery, and no one to help me.
Just worry about staying healthy and let the rest go.
What will be, will be.
Looking forward to your new addition.
Sincerely,
Unionblue

I shall pray that you labor on labor day. The little one will do you just fine. So how long before you have enough for your own gun crew?
You're the gunner, Mike is what position, rammer maybe? Two new little ones... At least one for the dogs can be the powder monkey. Ahh well you need four more to fully kit out the crew.

Folklore in my part of the country was that walking up and down stairs -- often, every day -- would induce labor. Not having personal experience in the condition, I couldn't know, but trying it costs nothing. (Sometimes the magic works.)

When I lived in Salt Lake, women went to Brigham Young's house to try to start their labor. I guess the fertility of dozens of wives was supposed to be a good omen! (The real reason was that there were a lot of stairs.)
A ride on a bumpy road was another way. Also a dose of castor oil, which I DON'T recommend unless your doctor says it's OK.
Any of the folk remedies don't work, however, if the baby is not ready to make an appearance!
BTW, is your address the same? I have something for Little Stranger #2.
we live in a split level, so the fridge and bathroom are not on the same floor! Ifind myself on the stairs more often than not, especially now that we are potty training
