Default For the buff who has everything...

I saw one of these in the newspaper on Sunday. A Confederate cuckoo clock. The only thing it doesn't do is whistle Dixie!

I'm outta luck, there's no Union equivalent that plays Battle Cry of Freedom and has a Sherman figure to pop out and yell Huzzah!

Maybe the cuckoo would whistle Dixie if it wasn't scared out of its wits by the cannon going off.

Great idea, except Unionists don't seem to collect knives, plaques, statues, and the gazillion other tchotchkes that seem to be so dear to the hearts of certain Confederate supporters.

I once wrote to the Lane company to ask if they did a Heroes in Blue calendar like the Heroes in Gray one, and they nicely wrote back and said no, that there was no demand for blue-clad heroes!

Funny. I was thinking that when I saw the Confederate Heroes coin or whatever it was in the Parade section of the paper today. There is simply not the same interest on the Union side as the Confederate. I wonder if that is a function of the Lost Cause or what?
