Default Modern Era

The modern era has definitely taken something out of the flowery prose that you see in previous generations. Modern audience probably would've flipped the channel after 'Four score' from the Gettysburg address, which really exemplifies the fierce competition for 'eyeballs' as much as it does our appetite for 'immediate gratification'
