Most everyone who acquires books acquires duplicates. This might be a place where you can trade one or two of yours for one or two of theirs.
Trades would necessarily be accomplished through PMs. Although we're most CW people, it might be allowed that other history books enter into the equation. For example, I have a book on the War of the Roses, another on Campaign Orange. And approaching a hundred books on other historical subjects that I will never get to.
Have a spare book? Put it up. See what you're offered for it.
For starters, I have two copies of Allen Guelzo's, "Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation." Both are "as new." What book do you have to offer in trade?' (Don't ask. you've never bought anything you didn't already have?)
To take it a bit further, I have "The Fall of Berlin" by Anthony Read and David Fisher (Norton Books) in the original shrink wrap. And would you have a cw book (that I don't have) to trade for it?
The webmaster would prefer that this swapping bee remain predominantly CW related. So it is well within the parameters that I can offer a WWII book for one on the Civil War.
What say? Have you a spare book or two?

I bought an extra copy of The War Hits Home: The Civil War in Southeastern Virginia for my brother. He was less than enthusiastic about it. It is about the war in and around Suffolk. Any takers?

Believe I might have those, Border. I'll check before I leap. Were you interested in any of the titles I mentioned?

Would you be interested in "Wild Rose; Rose O'Neale Greenhow, Civil War Spy. A true story" by Ann Blackman, for your "War Hits Home"? As New, unopened.
Also have a number off obscure WWII volumes.

On another thread, "Lo" asked for recommendations for a book on Lee. I looked at my collection and noticed a book I thought I didn't have and bought. What am I offered for "Lee; The Soldier," edited by Gary Gallagher?
