Off to Gettysburg!

Going back to Gettysburg for Memorial Day! Staying at the Braferton Inn. Should be fun....

I was reading 'Army of the Potomac' by Catton and finished through the Battle of Gettysburg. Got to the 1st Minnesota and Hancock's order to 'take those colors' to buy some time. For the life of me, I had it remembered that that had occured during Pickett's charge. I read it, and I thought, 'Gee, I'm only on Day 2' - funy how memory plays tricks on you.

Hey, I'm off to Gettysburg this weekend as well. Thankfully, staying with a girlfriend out past the Peace Light.
