Unfortunately we have to move into my parents' house for five weeks because of the timing of the closings and I am being consistently reminded to turn off the lights, lock the door, etc. My mother just scolded me for making too much noise and having the lights on. I feel for you, I really do.
Had to move about every 3-4 years when the wife and I were in the military. I hated it, she loved it.
Moved about 7 years ago and plan to move one more time to Southern Ohio in about 5 more years. The good news is, I picked out my final piece of property I will ever move to today. The wife and I acquired our plots and I now know my FINAL moving destination.
There is a real comfort knowing I won't ever have to move again from that spot and I won't have to worry about what to take.
Hint: Somes moves are less pain than others.
Enjoy,
