Default Why Are Threads Being Deleted?

...Without notice...and apparently 'moved' to the twilight zone section of the forum...

What goes?

What goes? Battalion is right! I understand that some threads like ones trying to sell products should be deleted for they of no purpose of enlightening the people of this board...

BUT! If a member post a thread or something that maybe insensitive that is another thing. If the MOD GODS or tons of members don't like it then fine don't delete it just dont allow anyone to post to it.

I feel we all should be allowed to read it and judge for our selves.... Lock out any post to and it will fade away in time....

I am not a FAN of censorship by person or State....

What thread has been deleted? The most recent I know of was a Lasik Spam add. I've been on th road a lot of late and know I've missed a lot of posts but I don't know of any that have been deleted or even moved lately.

Default Moved!

MOD GODS!

Let's replace the word "deleted" with the word "MOVED". The tread is not deleted but it's does have the same effect....unless I need some enlightening on the subject....

Some threads are moved to the mod corner for Ami & Mike to decide if they need to do anything about them. A couple things guaranteed to get a thread moved there: Blatant Racism, flaming, bypassing the swear filter, editing other members posts in replies etc. I REFUSE to edit a post, I have the ability but I won't do it. Instead I will move a thread to the mod corner and if it needs editing it gets edited by Ami or Mike and put back... if they think the thread deserves to die it stays there. It's their site, their right. As far as I can recall Ozark was edited several times due to some racist comments before he was banned. I've been edited for going round robbin w/ my hero Battalion, and rightly so as I deserved it. I believe it has happened a time or two other than that but it doesn't happen very often.

Hope that clears it some.
