As of 1634 CST, I'm still the only one on there, Pinckney. Did you sign out?

Hey, the chat room works great. Go to the Backpack-Essential discussions screen. At the bottom of the screen it shows how many are in the chat room. If there's nobody there sign on to the chat board, and wait for a bit. Other people will be able to tell by that screen (backpack) if someone is in the room. Whoever wants to chat can sign on and start typing. (Sort of like fishin'). If nobody shows, then it's just not a good time. Ok I'm done.

I was on chat tonight with Ole and dred, but they both had the little man with the talk bubble and I did not. Also I find that I must, for whatever reason hit my keys unusually hard for them to register in that chat room. I know I'm a bad speller, but this problem is apart from that.

I was chatting with Devildog, and Mark Wadsworth last night. Mark didn't have a bubble either, but he's a mod. Maybe mods don't have the bubble?

What is this bubble? I don't got no bubble! I don't need no stinking bubble!

Well, if you ain't no mod, then you got a stinking bubble (balloon) coming out the mouth of the little dude representing you, 'neath your name. You know, like, in the comics....like.

I am still having a problem keying in text in the Chat room. If I just tap the keys as usual (like now) the characters do not regisiter. I must resort to POUNDING a key to make a character appear. This makes the forum most frustrating.

I am sure it really doesn't have anything to do with how hard you push the keys, unless your keyboard is on the fritz.

I haven't heard any other complaints like that... I don't really know what to tell you.

No keyboard problem. The CWT Chat Room is the only place I find this problem. Might there be a Java applet (or something like that) needed?
