Obviously. I was clicking on the "chat room" icon at the bottom of the main page.

Yep. It's easy, but seems thusfar that those who login there have not found others to 'chat' with. Maybe as folks randomly go to the Chat Room, they will noticesomeone in the room, by the thing at the bottom of the main Dispatch Depot page.

But when I do go into the Chat Room and members can see that I'm in it, maybe it's just means nobody wants to chat with ME!

I've gotten in a couple of times now, so that is figured out. However, I've tried since and haven't been able to get in. Is anyone else having trouble?

Sam, if you just see your name, then you're the only one there. Everybody who logs into the chat room will have their name posted up, so you know who else is there. Then you can type "yo" .

Perspecatious, Sam. Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that there are not people out to getcha.

It might very well take some time to find out who gets on when. I'm on another chatroom, and somewhere around 10 AM there might be somebody there. Guaranteed that someone will be there around 10 PM.

We'll just have to grope and feel around until a pattern is established. That no one has made any contact yet is immaterial. One of these days there will be a hit, and things will progress from there.

I didn't know it until Sam mentioned it in one of his posts, but you can click on The Backpack - Essential Discussions, and at the bottom of that page is where you can see if anyone is in the chat room.

Yeah this weird. I'm in there now and you aren't there. Your email alert to your message has not posted on this thread yet either, usmcret, and the backpack page shows just me chatting with myself.
