Default If you have a few spare prayers...

Mike and I won't be around on Monday or Tuesday, Adam is going to be having heart surgery.

I haven't really shared this with anyone here, but he was born with a heart defect, called pulmonic valve stenosis. A valve leading to his lungs did not open fully, and over the last 14 months the turbulance in his heart has gotten worse. So the doctors have decided it is time to fix it.

He will be catheter surgery through an artery in his leg, to fix the problem.

I have been assured he will be fine. But I am still scared beyond belief. I love this little man so much.

So we are going to the hospital on monday to have the surgery, if you could spare a few prayers for us we woudl be very grateful.

Thank you,
Ami and Mike

Ami; I don't think you need to worry yourself overmuch, it's an out patient surgery now. Trust me, I am all too familiar w/ the procedure.

I know anything having to do w/ your child's heart is scary as hell; I'll keep the little lion in my prayers.

God Bless & God speed

Ami,

May God keep your fears in check and surround you and yours in his love. Keep your faith and just love your child and all will be well.

Sincerely,
Unionblue

Dear Ami, the daughter of my best friend has the same condition, similarly treated at about the same age. All is well with her. Best wishes to Adam!

for what it's worth;

I'm not much into prayers. Too many times seen them go to waste, but I do have a good feeling for intuition, and it is mine that that boy is going to be alright, I can feel that.

Love,

sam

Will be waiting for good news on Tuesday. Adam was created in answer to many prayers; a kindly Providence will certainly keep him with you.

Prayer said for Adam. With God's graces, may the little feller pull through.
