It's too hard, I added myself somewhere just above Knoxville. A bit to far east. Cant't figure out how to un do it and do it right. Guidance from the officer corp is requested.
Pinckney
Gotta have your pin approved before you can move it, but then ....
Go below the map and find your name. On the right it should say 'edit'. Click that, (zoom or whatever) then you can move your pin.

Sorry, I got a bit busy last night and didn't get to the approvals till this morning.
To PINCKNEYUSMCRET: don't forget to zoom in to your target location, you should be able to pinpoint yourself within a few hundred feet at least!
To GARY: I'm not quite ready to accept new points of interest, just collecting members locations for now. I may create a seperate map for that information, but I'm keeping your submission in the queue for now.
To HOOSIER: It's pretty simple, just like any other map program on the net. Just double-click on your location and you can zoom in, keep clicking until you can see your state, your city, and then you local streets. If you are on the submissions page you will see a marker for your location each time you double click. Once you've got your location zeroed in hit the SUBMIT button. (Atleast I think it says submit)
This seems to be working pretty good, keep the map points coming in and I'll approve them when I can!
Warning! Danger! Mike is doing this so as to sort out us computer dolts. Do not open your door to greet a small group of young men in brown shirts.
I think I placed my mark on the street where I live. Will check back to confirm.

I gave it my best shot. I don't know if it worked. I was able to zero in on the location of my home pretty well, but at no time during the process did I see a marker when I double-clicked.
I don't see ya yet, Hoosier. You should have a "pin" to move around to mark your spot. (the X below the pin marks the spot)
Zooming in with the satellite view is pretty cool. Union_Blue apparently lives in a sand dune, and it looks like Zou is camped out in some farmer's potato patch! And does Rad really live on a service road to a shopping mall, and Wadsworth in somebody's back yard?
And then zooming out of the satellite view, step by step is quite entertaining!.
