Default Emancipation Hall

Congress just passed a bill designating the main hall of the Capitol Visitors' Center as "Emancipation Hall." The bill was authored by Zach Wamp, Republican of Tennessee, and passed 398-6.

Zach Wamp is about as thick as a brick of a hick that one could imagine. (just a personal opinion)

I don't know the congressman.

Why is everyone so down on emancipation hall? Emancipation is a good thing!

It's the congressman, not the hall, I object to.

At 398 to 6, sounds like Zack is not alone.

Perhaps we should not throw out the message just because of the messenger who delivers it?

Well, better Emancipation Hall than Hell's Hallway or something along those lines. Doesn't cost anything since it's already built, right?
