Default Bad me

So I find Camper & Kirkley's "Historical Record of the First Regiment Maryland Infantry" and buy it. Why not? They belonged to Steuart's Brigade and fought at Gettysburg, didn't they? Or so I thought.

Anyhow, I should have checked my Dornbusch (sp). I get the book and it's the 1st Maryland Union. Bwahahahaha! Talk about mistaken assumptions. Since the price was reasonable and it does look promising, I'm not unhappy with the purchase. The book was written before the O.R. was published and so the authors weren't influenced by anything in it.

Default Surprise I think

The book was written before the O.R. was published and so the authors weren't influenced by anything in it.

Oh, I think we'd be real surprised how few historians ever really studied the OR's.
