Default Does Gettysburg Magazine pay its writers?

Anybody know? I've been condensing and tightening up what was written for my book and am considering releasing it in a magazine.

Gary, write, call or Email them and ask for their submission guidelines. The guidelines will tell you what they're looking for, what format they like, and how much they pay.

Small special interest magazines sometimes pay only in copies, but the "clip" (published article) goes a long way to help you if you want to publish with a bigger magazine.

Anybody else who's interested in publishing in magazines, always write for the guidelines or check the magazine's website. It's not a good idea to just shotgun your work out there -- it will likely end up in the shredder.

Thanks Zou. I have checked their website, but it was silent as to the matter and as to editorial guidelines. BTW, I like the editorial guidelines in N&S magazine. Also, I wrote the editor too.

I subscribe to no magazines but am most anxious to see that issue. Please let us know when it comes out.
