Default Civil War Talk Radio has moved

World Talk Radio has been bought up and thankfully they're continuing Civil War Talk Radio with Prof. Gerry Prokopowicz of Eastern Carolina University. Prof. Prokopowicz was with the Lincoln Museum before taking up teaching at ECU. Every Friday at noon, he interviews a different Civil War scholar. Catch it at: http://www.modavox.com/WTRStudioA/Ho...spx?ShowId=446

Thank's for that info. Looks like the Archived material is also still available.

Good question. It's not as easy as it use to be.

You gotta go down to where it says "Content Library", under a big "MP3" thing. Scroll down to the most recent CW archive available, or go down as far as you want. No longer do we get the small pictoral and topic summary that we were used to.

It does, if you scroll far enough, go back to a 9/25/04 a McPherson interview.

Click on the title line of the thing you want. It may work, or not. I tried that McPherson and it didn't work, but I get 3/31/06 Doris Kerwins Goodwin.

Either i'm not doing it correctly or it's just another of one of those things that unintentionally get farked up
I wish it were easier.

Rad,

I'm not a Pod person, so can't help you with "Podcast" stuff, but I'd guess that if you explored that clunky, user unfriendly, new site you might find what you need.

When I finally was able to get a program (the Goodwin one), afterward I found that somehow they had created a desktop icon shortcut to something called the "Gerry Prokopowicz Modaview Player". That thing takes me directly to the CW Talk site.

By the way, I may be doing the Trivia Game, if we can get enough players, so you can help by asking your best CWT friends to express their interest in the game by posting on the Trivia thread.

One thing I liked about the older site was that you could skip the ads. This newer one doesn't give you that option.
