Default Talk on Civil War sharpshooters & sharpshooting

I'm the guest speaker at the June 26 meeting of the (San Francisco) South Bay Civil War Round Table at Holder's Country Inn on De Anza Blvd. in San Jose. I'll repost when I get details about the time and exact location. Buy your tickets now as they expect a sell-out standing room only event. Kidding about tickets as there are none. Kidding about standing room only too. It would be nice if there were more folks than myself & a bored kitchen staff.

San Fran is allowing a talk on firearms... there is hope. I'm glad you will be the keynote speaker. I'm on the wrong side of the mountains or I would be there. As it is I eagerly awit your book.

Will watch for your update post. We live in Baja, and the wife has relatives up there. Maybe she can visit relatives while I hear your talk.

Must be lonely on the left coast. Wish I could be there.

RiverRat: It depends on whether the San Francisco Civil War Round Table invites me to speak. They've been wanting me to speak for years, but I've declined. If it is in October, it'll be the third Thursday of the month in the Irish Cultural Center (Sloat & 46th Ave).
