Campfire Chat - General DiscussionsThis is a forum for posting discussion topics, questions, current events, and anything else you'd like to chat about. Please post serious Civil War History threads in appropriate History Forums.
This thread is for participants in the War Between the States Trivia Game, both those who have participated in the past as well as those who have not yet done so, but may be thinking you’d like to give it a try.
As indicated in the “Possible holiday break” thread on the trivia game board, I’m asking people to post here and let me know whether you would like me to start Game # 44 on December 16 and continue straight through the holidays, or take a break and start Game # 44 on January 6.
If at least eight people enter posts in this thread before 6 PM on December 16 saying that they want to continue through the holidays, that’s what we’ll do. If there are fewer than eight positive responses, we’ll take the break and resume on January 6.
I'd take a break with all other stuff going on and folks likely being away and such. I know where I go at Xmas there is no wifi to glom onto. Also Mr. Hoosier might deseve a break himself. We've got lots of football games to occupy our time with.

I'm for a break too George. But if the game should go on, I'll shoulder my musket, fall in, and march along with it...

Miss Markie is all for a break during the upcoming Christmas season as she will be concerning herself with home matters in the way of decorations, wrapping gifts, and sampling egg nog.
I do believe General Hoosier deserves some time away from the front also.
Let us resume on the 6th of January then. I will still have time to prepare for General Lee's birthday and research for the game AFTER Christmas is passed.

Glad to hear it samgrant. I love egg nog and the much maligned fruitcake. Guess I'm just an old-fashioned girl at heart!!
