Default TV alert - Quadrupal Header -John Ford's Cavalry Trilogy and the Horse Soldiers
On TCM, Tuesday night, 8pm thru 12:15am "Fort Apache", "She Wore a Yellow Ribbon", and "Rio Grande", followed by "The Horse Soldiers" (12:15am thru 2:15am). (These are Eastern times but check your listings as I am in Central and may be mistaken.)

We've all seen these a gazillion times, but what an opportunity to see them all in sequence! Call in sick for Wednesday to watch the Ford/Wayne Cavalry Marathon!

I made it through the first three then dropped off to sleep, after all it is a school night!
I love these films! I thought it especially touching in "She Wore A Yellow Ribbon" when they buried "Trooper Smith", late a general in the CSA (I did not catch what his 'real' name was) and the Yankee colonel's wife made a little flag out of her red petticoat to put on his coffin.
