I find it extemely odd that you folks need to expess so many opinions on "Sci-Fi" stuff on this website.

Just one earthling's opinion.

Sam: We very much regret to inform you that we are not entirely convinced that you are an actual earthling. The jury will be back in a few days. You will be contacted.

C'mon don't you understand you humans are an experiment! Why do you think we taught you the cow tipping thing? We wanted to see how the idea would evolve. Though, the porto potty tipping is just sick.

Default Galactica

I'm a big sci-fi fan, mainly Star Trek. My favorite right now is the new Battlestar Galactica. Its a pretty confusing show, but the new Cylons are pretty hot.

Obviously, CW, you are terminally wierd. But we can handle that until you finally reveal yourself as a Cylon! Then, we will be obliged to kill you. So sorry.Toast is good with butter and a bit of garlic.

Easier said than done in the new series, they just download themselves into a new body (neat little sci fi gimmick!)

Funny that so many of the CW folk are also sci-fi fans, as am I.

Battlestar Galactica is good, but I think I enjoy the Stargate series more. More humor, less angst. I have enough angst in normal life.

As for CW themes in sci fi, there was also a Star Trek: Voyager episode where there was a war in the Q Continuum which was played out as civil war battles - the Q appeared in Union and Confederate uniforms.

The movie is a classic. I didn't get as much into the series though because I think it was on Friday nights and when it first came out I was still much younger and still going out those nights, so I'd watch an episode here and there and my father would be filling in the gaps.....

Default Alternate Universe CW led by Mr. Spock.

Hey,

Deep Space nine had the Alternate universe episode based off the first Star Trek series. It explained the Mr. Spock let and revolt in the Alternate universe kicking the humans out of power.
