Darn you had to touch on the one subject that will get me to admit that Texans arn't the only ones with an inordinate sense of State Pride. If it ain't cooked in KC MO it ain't BBQ.

Yeah Riverrat, you can go to either place and find lots o' beef for barbequin'. There's a bbq sauce named after KCMO, isn't there? I'd have to throw in my 2 cents for Kentucky bbq also. Try the Moonlight, if you're ever in Owensboro.

sgtcsa,
I went on a hunting trip to the Bitteroot Wilderness in Idaho once. That was fine! I was nursing a bad leg, and served as cook, but after being cautioned about the bears, I kept a 45/70 handy. Never had to use it. I imagine that Montana is similar. The streams were so clear, and yes, the fishing was good. I would enjoy living in a cabin in the mountains.

I remember Mr. Word. He seemed like a nice man.

If we ever get the kid through college, I'm going to do my best to convince Mr. Brown that we need to become beach bums and move in that direction.
