I've just spent an enjoyable hour chatting with Traveller, Texascavcadet, and Tarheel. William42 signed in briefly as well The chat room is working fine. I did notice that if you did not write something within a 10 minute period or so, it knocked you out, but all you have to is log in as if you checking the dispatch depot. Also there is a save feature which i will find very useful so no one loses critical information. A transcript of the chat will come up in a separate window allowing you to save what was said.
Matt
How does one use the 'save' feature?

Interesting. Works through the firewall, too! We may have to set up a schedule so we know when to connect.
Need to find some way to flag someone that is on the message board to go into chat without creating a seperate thread or sending PMs.

An excellent idea. Perhaps Mike could work out something like that -- or at least say it can't be done.

I never had any trouble getting in, but was there by myself I look forward to chatting with someone sometime
Max, it's pretty much luck as to when others are chatting. If you are in Oakland, Ca. and go into chat at 8:30pm, lots of the Easterners and Midwesterners are going to bed.

Between 8 and 10 CST, there's usually someone in the room. Problem is, no one checks in unless someone is already there. Who's first. Who get's the last drumstick?
