I've just spent an enjoyable hour chatting with Traveller, Texascavcadet, and Tarheel. William42 signed in briefly as well The chat room is working fine. I did notice that if you did not write something within a 10 minute period or so, it knocked you out, but all you have to is log in as if you checking the dispatch depot. Also there is a save feature which i will find very useful so no one loses critical information. A transcript of the chat will come up in a separate window allowing you to save what was said.

What if you came to chat and no one else showed up? That happened to me and I spend enough time talking to myself. Excuse me but the men in the white suits are asking me to put the restraint jacket on again.

I was having somewhat of a problem finding other people in the room as Gary mentioned, but I did pop in last night at about 10:00 or so and found a few other members there, however the chat was winding up because everybody had to be at work or school in the morning. Maybe, just a thought, Mike or another moderator could set a daily chat time, maybe in the evening, or for those with a different schedule maybe have a daytime and evening scheduled chat. If I knew I'd find someone there I'd definitely log in during that predetermined time. As it is now it's pretty much hit or miss, which is ok I guess. This is actually the first IM chat room I've participated in, so I'm not all that familiar with them.

any one can schedule a chat, just make a post about it in the Campfire chat with your time, and see who shows up.

Default Chat room - out of order

Now, somehow, asks for a user ID, which whenentered, is not accepted.

What's wrong with the 'chat room' ???
