Default Article in July 2005 Smithsonian

There's an article, "What Price Glory?" about commerical development on Morris Island, South Carolina. The writer, Fergus M. Bordewich, explains the views of both the developer, Harry Huffman, as well as that of Blake Hallman of the South Carolina Battlefield Preservation Trust. He also throws in a lot of history about the island and cites several credible historians like Gordon Rhea and Stephen Wise as well as give some history of the Siege. Check it out at your local library.
