I usually read two widely available magazines, which are: Civil War Times and America's Civil War. I also had a subscription to The Confederate Vereran magazine for over 18 years, which I no longer have now. Other than that, that's pretty much it.
I also belong to 'The Cedar Creek Battlefield Foundation' and 'The Civil War Preservation Trust', which sends me a magazine about 4 times a year called 'Hallowed Ground'.
North and South, and Gettysburg Magazine, have every issue of both. Considering a sub to Civil War Historian, and will pick up others, especially Blue and Gray, "If" they have
articles or a special edition on something I'm very interested in.
Chuck in IL.
CCG - Dead on arrival
CWT - Mostly conservation and I belong to CWPT and the CVBT
North & South - Poorly researched
Civil War Times - Superficial studies, very little source research
Blue & Gray - Used to subscribe, dropped for CWH
I used to really enjoy the Thomas Press' Regimental History Series. Shame they folded.
America's Civil War
The Blue and Gray
Civil War Times Illustrated (I have the last 40 years issues )

The only one Zou takes now is The Civil War News... too much the same stuff in most of the nationwide newsstand magazines, and most of that much too "Rebby."
Ringo, not accepting the shame, I have never heard of Civil War Historian. But now that I have, I'm gonna subscribe!
