During 2004 CivilWarTalk took in $80 in donations.

Thank you so very much to those who contributed.

We have decided that we are going to upgrade CWT and message boards to a newer version and we are putting this money to upgrade costs.

As I am sure you are all aware running and maintaining this web site is hard, tiresome and costly.

During the 2003 December Donation Drive we collected $187, and this helped greatly in server costs and other internet expenses that keep CWT online.

So we are again turning to you, our members, the heart and soul of CWT, to help us with financing our needed upgrades.

We are looking at new software that will help simplify running the entire web site as well as organize its' content. There will be a lot of new features that we are sure everyone will like, and our message boards should become much easier, and more fun to use and navigate.

The different software packages we are looking at range in price from $125-$180 on top of all our normal costs of running CWT.

We hope that you will help us to achieve a new record in monetary donations. If you can please donate, even if it is as little as a dollar, every little bit helps.

Thanks once again, we truly appreciate all of you, you really do make CWT everything that it is.

Ami

Just an update, we are up to $100 in donations plus I know we are getting some sent in the mail soon. Thanks for all the support!

FYI: If you requested my address by email then you should get a reply from myself or Ami within 24hrs. if you didn't get our reply, check your SPAM folder. I'm getting complaints that I'm not responding but honestly I am sending the replies out!

If you haven't donated, please consider it. Even if you don't post on the boards, I'm sure you enjoy reading the threads and articles.

And not to worry, CivilWarTalk won't be going to a pay site, even if we don't make our donation goals, we'll keep the site running so you can enjoy and participate in the community.

Mike:
Try again to e-mail a snail mail address. I don't use paypal but would be happy to submit a check if I had a destination. My server doesn't have a spam file. Keep trying. We'll get there. I so much appreciate this site. Frustrating, at times, and enfuriating at others, but somewhere in the is useful information. Meanwhile, I enjoy the thrust and parry of divided advocacy.

Ole,

I think I've sent you the address twice, and I had Ami send it to you once last night. I'm going to try a few different email addresses, I hope I can get it to you.

.... and to everyone else, thanks for your support!

Mike, I have also sent you a PM asking for the mailing addy, I'm cussing at my firewall, Norton and Hotmail all because they seem to id emails as viruses and I have missed some rather important ones. I'll probably try a direct Email to you or Ami after church.
