Can a moderator edit my post on the CSS Hunley, in the A to Z section?

I wanted to add that the CSA had successfully made an electric motor for the Hunley, but was abandoned because it could only make the sub move two knots.

Dan, that's certainly an interesting item of information.

I can try to edit the post for you, but before I do, I just want to check on one thing.

Was it the CSA (Confederate States Army) that made the motor, or the CSN (Confederate States Navy)? Or did the initials simply refer to the Confederate States of America?

The initials were for "Confederate States of America". Nothing else was meant, though it was more precisely the Confederate Navy.

Sorry, Dan, I find that I am unable to edit it for you.

I thought that, since I am registered as a moderator, I could edit the post directly. But I find that, in order to edit someone else's post, I have to use something called the "administration program," and I haven't yet been taught how to do that.

Maybe if you can get the attention of one of the other moderators, they can edit it for you. Might be best to try sending a private message to Ami or Mike.

To add to Dan's post, the electric motor worked and aparently worked well... it failed however to put out the power that was hoped. Dan, please feel free to place more items in the A-Z section, the more the merrier.

Mike or I can edit posts there as can Ami I believe.
