some people have reported problems if their security settings are too high, if you refresh the page it might help, or turn down your anti-virus settings...

Why does this forum always plays hell with my fire wall? I have to trun it off every time I come in here. I don't have this problem when I go to other forums that use the same program.

On my old PC I had the same problems at the AC, here & the NSSA site until i figured my problem was the result of Norton. My work ****** uses Macafee and has never had an issue.

I now use AVG and have had no problems since.

Frankly, it's a computer and they generally hate me...

And I'm such a likeable guy... really I am.

Sorry to bother you and Mike so soon, but I am having a terrible problem with CWT, which I have on no other web site. I cannot go into any forum, I just get a white screen, and the EI thing at the bottom says 'done'. This just happened, out of the blue, over the weekend and it only happens on my own home computer(?).

Perhaps Mike or yourself might be able to diagnose this problem, and suggest what I might do to fix it.

As you see, I can do PMs, and also can back into some threads by clicking on the last post of a particular topic (it is so very odd).

Please help if you can.

The problem dsecribed above may be the one Wadsworth is/was having.

The only way I could get in was to turn off my Norton security.

Coincidentally, my Norton security was expiring in September and after I upgraged to the 2007 version, the problem went away. So it was definitely a Norton related problem, but just adjusting the settings made no difference.
