Why when I try this does it only go back to March 2006?

Does it just to the last 500 posts?

Anyway to go back further?

have they been a member longer than march?

It could also be that it only does go back so far, to keep a record of archived posts would be incredibly difficult, and would take up too much room.

I just did a search on me, and it went back to 2002. I guess it has a limit of posts.
