Upon changing my signature, i was dismayed to find that all my previous posts with my old signature now carry the new one. I had not thought that the signature had such a magic bullet effect. I recall having seen a number of different signatures for Tommy and believed they stayed as they were posted. Perhaps that is for archived material. I suppose this is a function of the site setup and cannot be helped. Still, i am disappointed. I had not used a signature at all until relatively recently when my Reggae lyrics were poignant to a few topics on the board. Now I suppose even my unsullied pre signature posts are now signaturified. ****, but oh well...

Does anyone know of a way to keep the signature from metastasizing to previous posts?

since this is not a static message board, each bage is created as you click on a topic, it will generate your current signature.

Signatures, shoudl be something that describes you, or is relavent to you, not to particular posts, anything relavent to a particular post, shoul be posted within the post.

I like this current quote, what is not to like? But I liked the old ones too and would have preferred to leave them in place.
