YES! New moderators are needed to help keep our boards running smoothly! Below are some moderator jobs that we would like to fill:

New Recruits Moderator <--- Most Important!!!
Job Description: Reply to all posts of new message board users daily. Visit other message boards and introduce interested message board readers to our web site and discussion board weekly. Remove all inappropriate posts.

Current Events Moderator
Job Description: Read & comment on many interesting Civil War current events daily. Post informative news and events on our Current Events board weekly. Remove all inappropriate posts.

Assistant Trivia Moderator
Job Description: Edit hard to understand & unusable trivia questions before they are posted. Check for typographical & historical errors in trivia questions. Check for correct trivia scoring. Post Trivia questions when Trivia Master is on Vacation or unable to post. Remove all inappropriate posts.

Or suggest your own ideas, if you'd like to host a trivia chat in the chat room, or a book discussion, those would be good too! It's your message board as much as it is ours!

All positions are still up for grabs, please email mike@civilwartalk.com if you are interested in being a moderator!

Current Moderators:
-Mike Kendra - Message Board Owner, Trivia Master
-Ami Kendra - Full Board Moderator, News Editor

I nominate Neil, Union Blue or Ole. Both are stable, level headed and not given to flights of fancy.

However, Ole ain't reliable or given to regular commitment to anything but going to sleep whenever sleepy, eating whenever hungy, bathing whenever stinking, or any other sort of regular behavior. So Ole ain't in any contention whatever for doing something that doesn't fit in his erratic schedule. It was good of you to suggest it, but I'd be a poor choice for a moderator of anything. (My motto: nuke them all and we'll sort through the smoldering embers eventuallly.) Tomorrow, I might go fishing. Or I might not. Let's have a looksee tomorrow. When I wake up. This thread can thrive while I take another nap. But I do thank you for the thought.

Ole
