I do realize, that reports will be written in a favoring manner however, there are more 'gold nuggets' in official reports.

So, again -- the request is--if any had ordered the complete 'CD-ROM' set offered by Guildpress.com, which is nearly $170.00 --do you find it worth the cost?

Thanks!

I may be mistaken on what you are refering to, but ...

If you are talking about buying a CD of the OR's, I think that is a big waste of money when one can access them at these web sites:

this one has a photocopied version:

http://cdl.library.cornell.edu/moa/b...aphs/ofre.html

or, the one I use (cause I can cut and paste stuff):

I'm gonna start on it tomorrow.

The subtitle is "From Victory to Collapse", and as Glatthaar has a good reputation, I expect it to be an interesting read.

But just by reading the front and back flaps, I sense it may be controversial - I quote from the back flap:

"Glatthaar's definitve account settles many historical arguements. The Rebels were fighting above all to defend slavery."

Here we go!

Well I've just started the first page of the prologue(xiii), and it has already got me hooked. Read some of it here:

I just received this one in the mail, and it looks good. I'm going to try and get it read over Summer break, along with about ten other titles!
