Praeger Military History Illustrated

My local Half Price Books stores have Praeger Military History Illustrated books for $5.98 each. At that price, I picked up all the Civil War volumes I could find there. Everything from Fair Oaks to Hampton Roads to Chickamauga. I ended up with 10 volumes in all.

Kind of simplistic, yes, but I have gleaned some interesting stuff from them so far and at that price, I couldn't beat it.

I just wish I had the money to buy all the other ones they had there (everything from series on ancient battles to the American Revolution).
