Well it hasn't happened.. YET. Although she is getting slightly annoyed at my books laying all over the house and I keep coming home with more... I figure the commited part may not be too far off!

That's the easy part. Put them away! Dear one often says when are you going to clear off this table. I simply give up the idea that these are what I intend to read next and put them somewhere she doesn't have to look at them. So I forget what I had intended to read next. That might have changed tomorrow, anyway. Save the confrontations for important stuff, like how many books you can get away with buying.
