I had a week's delay due to some power outages in my area, but this week I've posted a blog entry covering Eric Jacobson's interpretation of Spring Hill. This really is a fascinating book, and I encourage anyone interested in the western theater to pick this one up. The blog entry is at:

I'm going there to read in just a moment. Eric only focused on two battles, Franklin and Spring Hill, but his attention to detail is far above the competitors' efforts. His documentation and identification of Union regiments is the best yet in my opinion.
