Thumbs up New Book "Ghosts of the field"

http://www.mikelynaugh.com/VirtualCi...stsOfTheField/
I have had the pleasure of talking ot the author who live in the western New York area.
You'll like this. It simply takes photos of the orginal subject matter and then imposes a modern day photo take from the same location and spot.

Wow, that's a pretty unique approach to passing on history. The transitions on the website are even more impressive than the static photos.

John, that's a really cool book. What would be great would be to take the book to some of those sites and stand where the present-day photo was taken, then look at the old photos too, while you're standing right there.

Great idea by the author. I expect that book will sell a few copies.
