Did anybody ever see this movie? Apparently it came out in '05. I never heard of it, just stumbled across this site on the web.
Having not seen it I'm reluctant to express an opinion, other than if Spike Lee directed it or produced it, it's most likely one-sided: probably his side. And probably controversial.
A look at American culture if the South had won the Civil War. Venturing a glimpse at such a world, it simulates the experience of watching the grand history of the Confederate nation as it fights to preserve its antebellum way of life. After triumphing at Gettysburg, the South sends Lincoln packing to Canada and gets cozy in the White House. The long-term result is slavery of all non-Aryans, an all-out conquest and apartheid in Latin America, an alliance with Hitler, a Cold War with Canada, and a slave shopping network. I usually have a morbid curiosity about these sorts of things, and I am certainly not afraid to watch or listen to the other guys opinion, but.... I think I'm going to pass on this one.

I could sit and pick my nose for 120 minutes and likely get more enjoyment out of it than taking time to watch. On the other hand ...... how am I to make judgement without watching. Wurra, wurra. Ole

Spike Lee had nothing to do with this movie. As I understand, it was a product of an independent or had something to do with the University of Oklahoma.

Hi Neil. Thanks for your post. Have you clicked on the link provided? I have to disagree with you when you state that Spike Lee had "nothing to do with this movie". His name is in a very prominent place. I think the very first words on the screen are "Spike Lee presents", on a backdrop of the CBF, when you open the link.
I think a better reflection of Lee's recent work would be his 2000 film 'Bamboozled', tho his earlier works 'Do the Right Thing' and 'Malcolm X' were much better than any thing he has done recently.
