Grierson's Raid

Just finished this one about the diversionary expedition which distracted Pemberton from what Grant was up to. Was written by Dee Brown of '.. Woundered Knee' fame and published in 1954. Mine was and old library castoff.
Exciting story and informative as to how this raid tied up several Confederate units which might have been of service at Vicksburg.
