Two of my favorite quotes from the movie. Both came during the same battle, First Manassas (or Bull Run for Yankees)

"Look men, there is Jackson standing like a stone wall! Let us determine to die here, and we will conquer! Follow me!" ~ General Barnard Bee

An obvious excited junior officer in the 33rd VA rushed to Jackson, "General! The day is against us!", he shouted. Jackson gave the man a cold stare and replied in a low tone: "If you think so, sir, you had better say nothing about it."

Don't have the exact quote from Jackson, but it went something like, "Shoot the brave ones, the skulkers and cowards will always flee and take their men with them!"
