Brotherhood of Valor

Jeffry D. Wert has put together quite a nice work in his Brotherhood of Valor. It follows the Stonewall Brigade of the CSA & the Iron Brigade og the Union through the war focusing on the men who made the legends. I enjoyed the book quite much and learned quite a bit.

A good investment and a good read, I heartily recommend it.

I too am reading this book and have learned alot from what I have read. I found it really interesting that the Iron brigade was first issued Harpers Ferry rifles and not enfields or Springfields.
