Well, I'm not sure this is the right place for this, but had to brag a little bit!

As a Navy man, I found the book very interesting, particularly the color provided by being written by someone who was actually there, rather then someone sitting in Washington.

Mark, this is great! I just found your post "down here", would have responded sooner. Is there a way to read your introduction online? How is the book selling?

Well, most of us don't apparently visit here very often! I haven't checked it for a long time, and only came because I finished a book and wanted to share!

The synopsis and the author's bio listed are extracted from my intro. The whole intro is only about 1600 words, but it was a professional gig!

I'm hoping they will do the other two volumes of the Navy side of the set.

Well, I went out the other day and discovered that they actually had a hard copy of the book for sale. I bought it immediately! And so now they are out of copies again. It is a softbound book.

It actually has my name on the cover! It is in very, very small print, but it is there! There is an error on the cover page inside. My name as writing the introduction has been inserted between the name of the author and the title, so it looks like I was a Rear Admiral! Can't claim that, unfortunately!
