I'm a big fan of "Blog them out of the Stone Age" visiting the place once a day. While not strictly a Civil War blog it is well written and superbly researched. I think Mark Grimsley does a superb job with it.

I can't figure out how one votes for a blog. I do like Grimsley's "Blog them ....", "Civil War Historian" as well, but also like Grimsleys "Civil Warriors" which is a sort of cross-post to the other blog.

http://warhistorian.org/wordpress/index.php

http://civilwarriors.net/wordpress/

I also like Dimitri Rotov's Civil War Bookshelf, tho I have my doubts about Dimitri as he is the man behind the curtain of the George McClellan Society.

Our own CWT member Brett Schulte has an excellent blog.

Another is "Civil War Books and Authors"

http://cwba.blogspot.com/

Those are the one's I am most familiar with.

There are many other's to look at:

but I don't have time to explore them all.

I just don't understand where I vote for the best one.

I found this one to be my favorite.

http://cwbn.blogspot.com/

I am still in the process of viewing them all to a greater extent.

With the risk that I may split the Grimsley (he has ? many blogs?) blog votes, I'm gonna vote for:

Civil Warriors:

http://civilwarriors.net/wordpress/

tho I love both of the CW Book blogs mentioned above.

The Civil War Blog I've enjoyed the most lately is Rene Tyree's Wig-Wags Blog:
