I see that there were 89 views of this thread, but there were only 7 votes. The good news is that 4 of those say they will defininitly give the new game a chance;
the bad news is that we need more than 4 players to make it a viable game.

If you have never played the game, why not give it a try?

Give us a vote and visit the Trivia Game forum.

I will try to play the new game however ther are weeks I just don't have time to look up some of the questions. And some of those questions were hard enough that it took some time to look up.

If I was to change on thing it would be the divisions.

I have particpated and even ran Civil War contests on other boards.

What about "the divisions"?

(We currently have a First Division - for those who have at least 2 perfect scores in a game, and a Second Division for all others.)

Anyone else have opinions about "Divisions"?

I don't think the divisions work with a small group IMHO.

I like the game and love to play. I foud the first question a little too complex and the second a little too easy, althoiugh it did require attention. I a agree that the two divisions are too much for a small game.
I think that a small prize, somthing that won't break us, maybe a printialbe,sutable for framing bragging rights certificate for the winner, would be helpfull in bringing in players.

Guess what? There will be 'prizes' (of a sort), but divisions will continue for various reasons which I will explain when I get around to posting a thread about new/continuing features of the game.

Sock: start and end times will be the same.

Your comment that one question was "too complex" and that the other was "too easy", exemplifies the high wire act I must perform as Moderator. I hope to keep it my balance and keep the questions balanced as well.

As to the matter of "a small game", we do need a decent number of players in order to make the game viable. (12 - 15 would be a good minimum), so encourage your friends to participate.

I am game for what ever y'all decide. I am just looking forward to the restart. Just to clarify I don't think either question was "bad", I just wouldn"t want all of the questions in a game to be like either of them. I know it is a hard job and a tightwire act, especally with as knowledgeable a bunch of players as hang out here.
