Wow Custer.. we are a minority it seems. Baseball all the way here. That's not to say I won't watch the occasional football game when the Pats are playing, But the Red Sox have my true love.

There are alot of choices there! I chose hockey. I'm definitely a Red Wings fan...win or lose. Football's ok, same for NASCAR...but Ill skip 'em all for a Wings game!

Probably quite safe to say I am the only person on the board who lists cricket as their favourite sport. I also watch football, especially the UEFA Champions League and English Premier League. But I do struggle with the idea of multi millionaire Brazilians, Spaniards and West Africans playing in Manchester, Liverpool and Newcastle.

Looks like I'm wrong. Unless I have managed to vote twice, cricket has another fan.

Soccer seems to be climbing in popularity on this side of the pond. When it gains favor with the kids, that's a good omen. To play basketball, one must be tall; to play football, one must be beefy; to play baseball, one must develop a tolerance for drugs; to play soccer, you need only the desire.

To play cricket, however, one must only resign oneself to being totally uninteresting to anyone who cares about sports -- much like being a USCW fanatic.

Can't comment on hockey. Is that a sport? My idea of a sport is the competition between me and the fish. Sedentary. But the cooler is handy to make the experience pleasant.

Not a big sports person, other than rowing once a year (when the Dark Blues win).

A trip to Fenway did introduce me to the Red Sox though, but can't really claim membership of that nation yet.

Totally uninteresting! Mick Jagger, Bob Marley and Eddie Grant have all listed cricket as one of their great passions. As do all Bollywood stars. But I can't name any of them.

Is it correct that this is the last season the Yankees will play at the Yankee Stadium?

If anyone has nothing better to do tomorrow at 13.30 gmt (I think that is 08.30 Eastern time) then you might enjoy this link.

This is live coverage of the first semi-final in the Indian Cricket League. This is a 20 overs a side match between two teams made up of overseas legends (Aussies, Saffers, Kiwis) plus young Indian and Pakistani players. Even if you have no idea what is going on, the coverage is worth watching just for the commentators and crowd.
I think the first semi is between The Lahore Badshahs and The Kolkata Tigers.
