Those match stats didn't come out too clearly. They are a copy and paste from ESPNsoccernet.com

The final score was 2-0, and I have to say the game was hardly a classic. England were not particularly inspiring, while the Americans defended well but showed little in attack. At least John Terrys goal will make him feel a little better after his penalty miss in the Champions League final.

I am very disappointed in our play.. I wish we have a leader that could inspire the team to raise its level of play. This was 2006 all over again. They play so well against Mexico because of the bitter rivalry but everyone else gets the "We're just glad to be here" US team. I am glad that we have some quality matches lined up and not Mexico again, but I need to see a better quality of football from our guys.

Fantastic result for the oranje. My guess is the winners will come from Holland, Portugal or Spain.

I watched a recording of USA V Argentina. Recent results have not been good for the American team, with defeats to England and Spain, but the performances are certainly improving. A draw against Argentina was much better. That was a real test for a friendly, with some quite serious tackles flying about. These are the games the Americans need to keep the improvement going.

Holland winning the finals sounds good to me. They have a wonderful team, and my favourite goalkeeper is great as usually.
Our national team is not so strong, but maybe they will do better in next matches.

It is pretty sad that soccer matches are sometimes won by referees, not players. I have not yet recovered from yesterday shock. Undeserved penalty kick three minutes into added time seems so unfair... Polish coach Beenhakker said: "I have been 43 years in the game and I've never before had a problem with a referee, never been suspended, but I really, really can't understand it". Neither can I.

I say Deutchland and Russia make the finals with the Germans and their experience winning 2-0.

Germany and Spain for me, with Torres and Villa both scoring in the final. Spain are long overdue a good tournament and this could be the year. Should have been the Dutch though.

Default what?

Well Germany and Spain both made to the finals of the Euro2008cup. I am lost for what the difference between Champion league winner(MUnited) and the upcoming winner of the Euro2008cup....I am putting my money on Germany to win!...
