Question Would you use a CivilWarTalk BLOG / Personal Journal

Would you use a CivilWarTalk Blog if we provided one for members?

Well it would help to know what a Blog is:

A blog is basically a journal that is available on the web. The activity of updating a blog is "blogging" and someone who keeps a blog is a "blogger." Blogs are typically updated daily using software that allows people with little or no technical background to update and maintain the blog. Postings on a blog are almost always arranged in cronological order with the most recent additions featured most prominantly.

I said occasionally, but might be tempted to use more than that, but not necessarly everyday.
I've found very some interesting blogs online, the authors having a grand sense of humor. But also 1 by a professor/historian with several other professors joining in on the posts. Some of the material puttered around with turned into a article for N&S not long ago.
I'm presently experimenting with doing a journal on a 'meeting friends' site I just joined. Only expecting to post once a wk. at least to start, but, will see what happens.
Chuck

What would a blog be used for? I can see companies using blogs to talk about their newest products, but for us? I know there is someone much smarter than I would can find a use that will help all students of our favorite Late Great Unpleasant Family Dispute.
